Personal Consultations typically consist of 1-3 meetings where we discuss specific questions related to a clearly defined, straightforward issue or a problem.
Professional Consultations may include one time or on-going meetings for mental health or medical professionals seeking psychological input on clinical cases, practice development, or practice management.
Counseling and Coaching focuses on finding solutions to problems occurring in daily life centered in the here-and-now. Sessions may be focused on problem-solving, goal-setting, developing specific action plans, or may consist primarily of support and encouragement. I provide both short-term and long-term counseling.
Psychotherapy is aimed at creating long-term changes in your thinking, how you experience and manage emotions, understanding and changing destructive relationship patterns, resolving deeper issues concerning your sense of self and identity. Psychotherapy is appropriate for those who want to work through past trauma, resolve long-standing childhood issues, break self-sabotaging or self-destructive patterns that lead to failures or disruptions in work, relationships, creative abilities or ability to enjoy your life.

I will email you intake forms to fill out and bring to your first session. Our first meeting will be two hours. This will give us time to fully discuss your reason for contacting me and for us to formulate a tentative plan for our work. At the end of our first meeting we will decide how often you will come in, how long your sessions will be, and what type of therapy or counseling I will provide. Our plan may include a referral to a psychiatrist, physician, nutritionist, or other professional that will help us with your treatment.
